Zarius Drummond, M.D.

Dr. Drummond earned his undergraduate degree in chemistry, magna cum laude, from Tennessee State University in 1996 and his medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee in 2001. In 2005, he completed a combined Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency at the University of Cincinnati, where he served as Chief Resident and Small Group Instructor, with a subsequent fellowship in Surgical Pathology in 2006. He has published 7 articles and abstracts. Dr. Drummond holds memberships in the American Society for Clinical Pathology and College of American Pathologists.


Shams K. Halat, M.D.

Dr. Halat earned her medical degree from the American University of Beirut. In 2004, she began her residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Due to Hurricane Katrina she transferred to the University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio where she completed her residency. She then completed a Cytopathology fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in 2009, and subsequently completed a Genitourinary Pathology fellowship at Indiana University School of Medicine in 2010. Dr. Halat is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Cytopathology by the American Board of Pathology. She has published more than 20 articles and numerous abstracts in the fields of surgical pathology and genitourinary pathology. Prior to joining PGL she was an associate professor at Tulane University and was involved in teaching medical students and training pathology residents and fellows. She is a member of the College of American Pathologists, International Society of Urologic Pathology (ISUP) and the Genitourinary Pathology Society (GUPS) and she previously served on the CAP cytopathology committee.


Anthony M. Harton, M.D.

Dr. Harton earned his undergraduate degree from The University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa and his medical degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine, Mobile, in 1999. He completed his residency in anatomic and clinical pathology as well as his surgical pathology fellowship (special emphasis on Gastrointestinal and Liver pathology) and cytopathology fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA. He also served as a pathology instructor at Harvard Medical School in hematopathology, pulmonary pathology, and female reproductive tract pathology. Dr. Harton has published fifteen articles and abstracts in the fields of pathology and chemistry. He holds memberships in the College of American Pathologists, the United States and Canada Academy of Pathology, and the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.


Jennifer Jastram-Belcher, M.D.

Dr. Jastram earned her undergraduate degree from the University of New Orleans and her medical degree from the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 2002. She was the chief resident and house officer in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, and transferred her residency to the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center in 2005 due to hurricane Katrina. She performed her fellowship in Hematopathology at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center. She holds memberships in the College of American Pathologists, the American Society for Clinical Pathology, the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology, the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners, and the Orleans Parish Medical Society.


Robert L. Koscick,M.D.

Dr. Koscick graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio. Following graduation from medical school at the University of Cincinnati in 1993, he served as a general surgery intern at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. From there, he proceeded to complete a residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at University Hospitals of Cleveland, Case Western Reserve University, where he was chief resident and completed a Cytopathology fellowship. He is a member of the College of American Pathologists and the United States and Canadian Association of Pathologists. Dr. Koscick has published numerous articles in the fields of fine needle aspiration, pulmonary cytology, gynecologic pathology, hematology and transfusion medicine. His primary areas of expertise are in n breast and gynecologic pathology.


Dr. Joseph C. Marrazzo

Dr. Marrazzo earned his undergraduate degree in biological sciences, summa cum laude, from Louisiana State University. He went on to earn his medical degree at Louisiana State University Health Shreveport School of Medicine, in 2014. After completing his anatomic and clinical pathology residency at Indiana University, he completed his surgical pathology fellowship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE. He holds memberships in the College of American Pathologists, American Society for Clinical Pathology and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pathology.


Amberly Lindau Nunez, M.D.

Dr. Nunez earned her undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from Louisiana State University in 2004 and her medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, New Orleans, in 2008. In 2012 she completed a combined Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she served as Anatomic Pathology Chief Resident. She then completed a Cytopathology fellowship at UAB in 2013. Dr. Nunez is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Cytopathology. She is the Laboratory Medical Director and Chief of Pathology at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center and is the Laboratory Medical Director at The Baton Rouge Clinic. She has published multiple articles and abstracts, including those in the fields of cytopathology and surgical pathology. She holds memberships in the American Society for Clinical Pathology, the American Society of Cytopathology, the College of American Pathologists, the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology, and the American Medical Association.


Vishakha Pardeshi, M.D.

Dr. Pardeshi earned her medical degree in 2008 from Grant Medical College in Mumbai, India. She went on to earn her Masters of Public Health at the University of Texas in Houston. She completed her residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology from Wayne State University, and subsequently completed her fellowship in the GI and Pancreaticobiliary pathology program at Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Pardeshi holds memberships in the College of American Pathologists, American Society of Clinical Pathology, Rodger C. Haggitt Gastrointestinal Pathology Society, Pancreatobiliary Pathology Society and North American Society of Head and Neck Pathology. She also is a Social Media committee member of the Pancreatobiliary Pathology Society. Dr. Pardeshi has published several articles in the field of surgical pathology.


Tracy Rauch, M.D.

Dr. Rauch earned her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia, Athens, and earned her medical degree from the University of South Alabama, Mobile, in 2002. She completed her residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, and completed a fellowship in Hematopathology at Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri. She is a member of the College of American Pathologists and the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. She has published several articles in the fields of Hematopathology, Immunohistochemistry, and Pharmacology. Dr. Rauch serves as the current President of Pathology Group of Louisiana.


Jonathan Stone, M.D.

Dr. Stone earned his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and his medical degree from the University of South Alabama, Mobile, Alabama, 2009. He performed his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he served as Chief Resident. He completed a fellowship in General Surgical Pathology at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology by the American Board of Pathology. He has published over ten articles and abstracts in the fields of surgical pathology and oncology. He is a member of the American Medical Association, College of American Pathologists and American Society of Clinical Pathologists.


Brian Webb, M.D.

Dr. Webb earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky and his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 1988. He completed his residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, as well as his fellowship in gastrointestinal and liver pathology. He is board certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners in anatomic and clinical pathology and has been in practice for since 1993. He holds memberships in the College of American Pathologists, the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology, the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, the Roger C. Haggitt Gastrointestinal Pathology Society, and the East Baton Rouge Parish Medical Society.


Junlin Zhang, M.D.

Dr. Zhang earned his medical degree from the Medical College of China Three Gorges University and his Ph.D. at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He completed his residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas and continued to University of Alabama at Birmingham for his Breast/GYN pathology fellowship. Dr Zhang has published numerous articles in the field of Clinical and Anatomic Pathology. He is a member of the College of American Pathologists. Dr. Zhang is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
