Pathology Group of Louisiana Pathologists are Board Certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology with subspecialty board certifications in the fields of Cytopathology, Hematopathology, Neuropathology, Dermatopathology, and Histocompatibility/Immunogenetics.
Areas of expertise include, Obstetric/Gynecologic pathology, Breast pathology, Cytogenetics/Molecular Biology, Pediatric pathology, Hepatic and Gastrointestinal pathology, Dermatopathology, and Urologic pathology.

Dr. David Boudreaux graduated medical school from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1973. He completed his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and his Fellowship in Neuropathology at UCLA Center for the Health Sciences in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Boudreaux also received special training in Opthalmic Pathology at Jules Stein Eye Institute in Los Angeles. He was certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology in 1978 and Neuropathology in 1983.
Dr. Boudreaux has over thirty-three years experience in General and Obstetric Gynecologic Pathology with special expertise in Neuropathology, Opthalmic Pathology, Neuromuscular Pathology and Breast Pathology. He is also the Cancer Liaison Physician for Woman's Hospital.
Dr. Deborah Cavalier graduated medical school from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. She completed her residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Cavalier had additional Cytology training following her residency at Cleveland Clinic and studied with Dr. Charles Hirsch at Medical Examiner's Office, New York, New York. She is Board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Cytopathology, and special experience in Obstetric Gynecologic Pathology.
Dr. Cavalier has over twenty-nine years experience in Anatomic and Clinic Pathology including eleven years of Obstetric Gynecologic Pathology. She is the Director of Cancer Detection Lab (CDL) at Woman's Hospital, Lab Director at St. Elizabeth Hospital, President of Pathology Group of Louisiana and previous Assistant Coroner for East Baton Rouge Parish.
Dr. Edgar Shannon Cooper graduated medical school from Tulane University School of Medicine and Law School from Loyola Law School in New Orleans, Louisiana. He completed his residency at Philadelphia Naval Hospital and Charity Hospital of New Orleans. Dr. Cooper is Board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, Blood Banking and Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics and has special expertise in Transfusion Medicine and Forensic Pathology. Dr. Cooper has over thirty-three years of practice in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology including Blood Banking, Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics.
Tonya J. Eichelberger M.D.
Dr. Tonya J. Eichelberger earned her undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from Hastings College in Hastings, Nebraska and her medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha in 2003. She performed her residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of Alabama Medical Center in Birmingham, as well as Fellowships in Gastrointestinal Pathology and Hematopathology. She is a member of the College of American Pathologists, belongs to the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, and is a member of the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology. She has published over four articles in the fields of GI and liver pathology and clinical laboratory testing. She is Board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Hematopathology. Dr. Eichelberger is also Director of Laboratory for Baton Rouge General.
Aimee Pastorek Goodier M.D.
Dr. Aimee P. Goodier earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, New Orleans in 2000, and her medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, Shreveport in 2006. She completed her Pathology residency and Fellowship in Cytopathology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson in 2010 and 2011, respectively. She is Board Certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Cytopathology. She holds memberships in the American Medical Association, the American Society for Clinical Pathology and the College of American Pathologists.
Anthony Millard Harton M.D.
Dr. Anthony M. Harton earned his undergraduate degree from The University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa and his medical degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine, Mobile in 1999. He completed his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology as well as his Surgical Pathology Fellowship (special emphasis on Gastrointestinal and Liver Pathology) and Cytopathology Fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Harton is Board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Cytopathology. He also served as a Pathology Instructor at Harvard Medical School in Hematopathology, Pulmonary Pathology, and female reproductive tract pathology. Dr. Harton has published fifteen articles and abstracts in the fields of pathology and chemistry. He holds memberships in the College of American Pathologists, the American Society of Clinical Pathologists and the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology. Dr. Harton is also Director of Laboratories for Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Jennifer Jastram earned her undergraduate degree from the University of New Orleans and her medical degree from the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana in 2002. She was the chief resident and house officer in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, and transferred her residency to the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center in 2005 due to Hurricane Katrina. She performed her Fellowship in Hematopathology at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center. Dr. Jastram is Board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Hematopathology. She holds memberships in the College of American Pathologists, the American Society for Clinical Pathology, the United State and Canadian Academy of Pathology, the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners, and the Orleans Parish Medical Society. Dr. Jastram is also the Laboratory Director for Cypress Pointe East Hospital.
Dr. Robert L. Koscick earned his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from John Carrol University, Cleveland, Ohio and earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine in 1993. His residency brought him to University Hospitals, Case Western Reserve University, where he was a Cytopathology Fellow, as well as chief resident of Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. He is a member of the College of American Pathologists and the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, and has published over seven articles in the fields of fine needle aspiration, pulmonary cytology, gynecologic pathology, and blood-borne hemorrhagic conditions and neoplasms. Dr. Koscick is Board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Cytopathology. He is also the Laboratory Director of Pathology Group of Louisiana.
Dr. Beverly Ogden graduated medical school from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1987. She completed her residencies in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Touro Infirmary, Tulane University Integrated Hospitals and Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation. Dr. Ogden was certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology in 1987 and has special expertise in Obstetric Gynecologic Pathology, Cytogenetics/Molecular Biology, Breast Pathology and Microbiology.
Dr. Ogden has over twenty-three years experience in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology including Obstetric Gynecologic Pathology. She is the Director of Laboratory at Woman's Hospital and Director of Research at Woman's Health Research Institute.
Dr. Peggy Polk earned her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University, her Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology in 1984, and her medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine, New Orleans in 1989. Her residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology was split between Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas and Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama. She completed her Fellowship in Dermatopathology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1997. Dr. Polk is Board Certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Dermatopathology. She has been Associate Clinical Professor, Department of Dermatology, Louisiana State University Medical Center for over thirteen years and previously served as the Medical Director of Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center Blood Bank for over twelve years. Dr. Polk has published over five articles related to Dermatology and Dermatopathology.
Dr. Tracy Marie Rauch earned her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia, Athens and earned her medical degree from the University of South Alabama, Mobile in 2002. She completed her residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of Alabama, Birmingham and completed a Fellowship in Hematopathology at Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri. She is a member of the College of American Pathologists and the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. She is Board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Hematopathology. Dr. Rauch is also the Laboratory Director for West Feliciana Parish Hospital.
Dr. John R. Simmons graduated medical school from University of Arkansas, Little Rock, Arkansas in 1994. He received his M.B.A. from the University of Tennessee in 1997. He completed his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee and Subspecialty Training in Dermatopathology at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. He is Board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Dermatopathology. Dr. Simmons has over ten years of experience in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology including Dermatopathology and is the Director of Laboratory at Lane Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Erin S. Thibault earned her undergraduate degree at Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, and her medical degree at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans in 2002. She completed her residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the Medical College of Virginia Health Systems in Richmond and her Dermatopathology Fellowship at the University of Virginia at Charlottesville. She has served as Laboratory Medical Director of Polk Medical Center in Cedartown, Georgia, as well as the North Georgia Medical Center at Ellijay. She is a member of the American Society for Clinical Pathology and the College of American Pathologists. Dr. Thibault is Board Certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Dermatopathology.
Dr. Brian W. Webb earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky and his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 1988. He completed his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, as well as his Fellowship in Gastrointestinal and Liver Pathology. He is Board Certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. He has been in practice since 1993. He holds memberships in the College of American Pathologists, the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology, the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, the Roger C. Haggitt Gastrointestinal Pathology Society, and the East Baton Rouge Parish Medical Society.
